Synergistic Activities

1. Development of the Regional Economics Applications Laboratory, a joint venture between the University of Illinois and the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago to serve as a vehicle to transfer analytical modeling analysis to public policy decision-making.

2. Joint research agreement with the Central Research Institute of Electric Power Industry (CRIEPI) in Tokyo, Japan to link lifeline recovery systems analysis with economic models.
