Synergistic Activities:

1. Jubilee Professorship, given to faculty that exhibit broad research and teaching interests, by the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.

2. Co-PI on the dynamic spatial urban growth model with colleagues from Urban and Regional Planning, Landscape Architecture, Geography, Architecture.

3. The wide range of journals in which I have published ranging from engineering journals, Ecology, Theoretical Biology, Ecological Economics, Primatology, Input-Output economics, etc.

4. Headed an energy research group (economics and engineering) for 15 years.

5. Courses and books on dynamic ecological and economic modeling and on spatial dynamic modeling, attracting students from nearly every discipline on our campus over the last 21 years, spawning many publication, particularly in the arena of spatial dynamic modeling.
